Cobb Can Move Unblocked — Play in Your Browser

Cobb Can Move runs entirely in the browser, and we host the game build on this domain rather than embedding someone else's player. That removes the most common reason browser games fail to load — but it is not magic, and this page is honest about what it does and does not get around.

What "unblocked" actually means

"Unblocked" gets used to mean two very different things, and it is worth separating them.

The useful meaning is technical: a game that needs no installer, no plugin, no launcher and no account, so it runs on a locked-down computer where you cannot install software. Cobb Can Move genuinely qualifies. It is an HTML5 build — the same code the developer ships — and it needs nothing but a modern browser.

The other meaning is circumventing a network filter, and that is not what this page is for. If your school or workplace blocks games, that is a policy decision made by people who administer the network you are using. We are not going to hand you a proxy list, and any site that does is asking you to route your traffic through a stranger's server.

Why the game loads here when embeds elsewhere fail

Most sites that let you play an itch.io game do it by embedding itch.io's player in an iframe. That means the page has to load content from a second domain, and network filters routinely block that second domain even when they allow the page itself. You get a working site with a dead grey rectangle where the game should be.

We import the authorised build and serve it from this domain instead. When you press play, the browser requests the game files from the same origin that served the page — there is no second host to allow, and no third-party frame to fail.

The practical effect is simple: if this page loaded for you at all, the game will almost certainly run. The parts that could fail independently have been removed.

Same game, not a reupload

This is the developer's own build, hosted here with permission and kept at the current version. It is not a modified copy, a re-skin, or an older jam build with the credits stripped out.

What you actually need

  • A current browser. Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari from the last few years. The game is a Construct HTML5 export and uses standard web APIs, nothing exotic.
  • JavaScript enabled. Non-negotiable — the entire game is JavaScript. If a school profile disables it, no browser game will run.
  • A keyboard or a gamepad. There are no touch controls. A Chromebook or lab PC is fine; a phone is not.
  • Sound, ideally. Not required to load, but Cobb's sniffs and footsteps are real gameplay information. Headphones make the game meaningfully easier.
  • Local storage available. Story progress saves in your browser. In a locked-down or guest profile that clears on logout, your progress goes with it — Endless mode does not save at all by design.

If it still will not load

Work through these in order. The first three are ordinary technical faults; the last one is the honest answer nobody else on this topic will give you.

  • The frame is blank but the page works. Reload once. Large browser games occasionally lose a file on a flaky connection, and a reload fetches it again.
  • It loads but the keys do nothing. Click inside the game frame. Until you do, the browser sends your keystrokes to the page, not the game — this is by far the most common "it's broken" report we get.
  • An extension is interfering. Aggressive content blockers sometimes strip canvas or audio elements. Try a private window with extensions disabled.
  • The whole domain is blocked. Then the network you are on has decided games are not allowed, and that decision is not a bug to route around. Play at home instead, or grab the free Windows download and play offline on your own machine.

Avoid mirror, proxy and APK sites

Search for this game's name plus "unblocked" and you will find a long tail of domains offering it. Most are worth avoiding, and for concrete reasons rather than general caution.

They tend to serve outdated builds — a v1.1 copy has no rock stun and no SMELL nerf, which is a materially harder and worse game. They frequently strip the developer's credit. Some wrap the game in ad layers that overlap the play area. And "unblocked proxy" sites in particular work by routing your traffic through a server you know nothing about, on a network you do not own.

There is also no legitimate Cobb Can Move APK. The game has never shipped an Android build; anything advertised as one is a repackage by someone else. If you want it away from the browser, the developer's own Windows download is the only official offline version.

Playing offline instead

If browser access is the problem rather than the game itself, the Windows build is free on the developer's official itch.io page under a name-your-own-price model — you can set the price to zero and download it without paying.

It is the same game with the same content and version number. It gained proper fullscreen support in v1.2, and because it runs locally it needs no network at all once downloaded. Our download guide walks through getting it without an itch.io account.
