What is Trees Hate You?
Trees Hate You is a short, bright, deeply unfair obstacle game about a kid crossing a forest that has decided he should not make it. The art is cartoon-friendly, the woods look harmless, and that is the joke: the danger is buried in scenery you have already walked past once.
Every stretch of path hides something — a trap that fires when you step on the wrong tile, a log that swings the moment you commit, a gap that only reads as a gap after it has killed you. Runs are measured in seconds, deaths are cheap, and a restart drops you back at the last checkpoint fast enough that quitting never feels like the easier option.
If you came here from Cobb Can Move, the loop will feel familiar: read the room, get punished, come back knowing one more thing than the forest expected.
